Ice Skating!!

We decided to try ice skating tonight especially since we got a smokin' good deal on ice skates for Trent and Kelsey at D.I. They're doing pretty good considering they have only been after it for an hour.

Sam the Snowman

We spent a few nice days in Arizona this past weekend enjoying family, friends, and the weather. When we got back to Idaho, we had approximately 8 inches of snow waiting for us. Trent has been begging for Timothy or me to go outside with him to build a snowman...today was the day!!! SO MUCH FUN! While we were out there, it started snowing teeny-tiny flakes. By the time we were done with Sam, HUGE flakes were falling, making it just that much more beautiful! We had to come inside instead of making the rest of the snowman family. Maybe tomorrow.

Snow Blower update

I know you can't really see it very well, but we finally got the snow blower working! Without going into everything that it took to get it figured out and fixed, just know that that process will make removing snow that much more enjoyable.

Christmas Trebuchet

We made a Christmas Trebuchet for Uncle Reed but we had to test it out to see if it would be able to knock down castle walls first. We regret to say that we were only somewhat successful.

Stay tuned till next year for larger trebuchet projects... :o)

STAIR MASTER!!

For those of you who have requested to see Blake's stair climbing abilities, here it is. He mastered this technique shortly after we got here.

Short cell phone video of launching our home-made rocket

The audio didn't turn out...

Tryin' to fix the snow blower...

We're getting ready for a little more snow by trying to fix a snow blower.

This is one of the busted bushings WHICH NO ONE CARRIES ANYMORE!!!

That's why you need one of these totally awesome machines to make you a new one!!

We discovered that we have one more bushing to go before we have a fully oporational snow blower. Don't worry. It's only a matter of time.
